2025 in review: A year of growth through industry collaboration

2025 has been a year of meaningful connection for the ETL. Strengthened by new collaborations across government, industry and specification platforms. These integrations have made it easier for manufacturers to list and promote energy efficient products, and for specifiers, designers and buyers to make informed decisions that support energy efficiency goals.

ETL product listings now supported within NBS Chorus and NBS Source

We are pleased to announce that the ETL has been working closely with NBS, through the scheme’s API, to provide specifiers with an easier route to filter and select ETL listed energy efficient products at the point of design. As a result of this initiative, NBS Source now enables manufacturers to indicate if their products are ETL listed.

SKArating launches Offices Environmental v2.0

The launch of SKArating scheme’s updated Offices Environmental v2.0 framework will carry particular significance for manufacturers of ETL-listed products. The update deepens the link between SKArating and the Energy Technology List, meaning that ETL-listed technologies will play an even more prominent role in sustainable office fit outs.
