Products listed on the ETL are associated with industry best practices too, so build trust with procurers and confidence in your energy efficient technology with ETL accreditation today.
Manufacturers can also enhance their listings by including Technical Specification and BIM Object files. These provide more detailed product information for purchasers, designers and architects, making it easier to compare options, support specification and improve decision making. If these files were not included as part of your initial application, please contact us and we can add them for you.
Three steps to getting listed
Have your energy efficient products listed on the ETL for free in three simple steps.
1. Register your company
- Create a user account
- Verify the account creation
- Fill in your company details
2. Submit your product application
- Gather and submit your documentation *
- We’ll carry out completeness checks
- Technical evaluation undertaken **
3. Products added to ETL
- Product decision communicated ***
- Product added to the ETL within 24 hours following approval
- Announce your accreditation and use the ETL mark

1. Application checklist
2. Technical specification and/or BIM Object files
3. ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification
4. Declaration of conformity
5. Test report
**Additional product information may be requested via email and be supplied within 30 days.
***If a product is rejected, the applicant receives further information via the portal and can reapply.

We are pleased to announce that manufacturers of Packaged Chillers can now benefit from a streamlined application process for the ETL through our latest criteria alignment with Eurovent Certification. By using their existing Eurovent Certified Performance test reports, manufacturers can now demonstrate compliance with ETL performance standards.

ETL product listings now supported within NBS Chorus and NBS Source
We are pleased to announce that the ETL has been working closely with NBS, through the scheme’s API, to provide specifiers with an easier route to filter and select ETL listed energy efficient products at the point of design. As a result of this initiative, NBS Source now enables manufacturers to indicate if their products are ETL listed.
