The 2024 Baxi Installer Skills Survey event, held on September 24th at the Baxi Solutions Academy, focused on discussing the UK's transition to cleaner, more sustainable heating solutions. The ETL had the pleasure of being invited to attend the event, and hear more about heat pump solutions across the UK.

There is a growing demand and interest in cooling technologies to deliver both performance and energy efficiency. Among the best solutions are evaporative air coolers, which use water evaporation to cool air, offering an energy-efficient alternative to refrigeration-based cooling systems.

The ETL has recently undergone significant updates, incorporating new Uniclass codes to better classify energy-efficient products and technologies. This development is a result of ongoing collaboration between the ETL and Uniclass, a widely recognised classification system used across the construction and built environment sectors.
