Meet our ETL team at Futurebuild 2025
March 4 – 6 at Stand J64, ExCeL London
This year’s 20th anniversary event has a theme of ‘Impact’ - and the ETL will be there in person
The ETL is excited to announce the team will be exhibiting at Futurebuild 2025, the event covering sustainable innovation in buildings - and you could meet us on the day to talk about all things energy efficiency from 4 - 6 March at London’s ExCeL.
What’s happening at Futurebuild 2025?
This milestone meetup sees Futurebuild’s 20th anniversary, celebrating two decades of advances in the built environment and its communities. This year’s theme is ‘Impact’.
From architects to builders, manufacturers, purchasers and developers, a wide range of supply chain members will attend to showcase and discuss how they can create a more sustainable future as the UK moves towards Net Zero.
There will be over 400 brands at Futurebuild, 250 exhibitors and 550 speakers, offering a wide range of products, materials, solutions, and industry knowledge focused on driving sustainability in construction.
Why our team will be exhibiting at Futurebuild 2025
One of the ETL’s missions is to inform the public about the scheme and increase access to the top 25% most energy efficient independently verified products in the market in their class, backed by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. Futurebuild is the perfect place for our team to engage and network with attendees from the world of construction.
At Futurebuild 2024, ICF Consultant Zara Popstoyanova was stationed at the ETL stand with the rest of the team. She met manufacturers and purchasers and explained the scheme to them.
Zara said, “I met several people who literally couldn’t believe that this is a government backed programme and that it is free to use, so overall they were delighted to find out about it and use it.”
Tom Lock, Consulting Director at ICF, and Programme Director for the ETL Scheme said that Futurebuild 2024 was a great opportunity for the team to gain insights from manufacturers about their experiences of the ETL. He said, “I was pleased with how manufacturers responded to opportunities to film their impressions of the ETL and how they articulated what the ETL can do for their business.”

Meet the ETL team at Futurebuild
If you’d like to stop by and say hello you’ll be able to find us at stand J64. We’ll be on hand at our hub to discuss all the benefits of the government backed ETL scheme, including how manufacturers can list their energy-efficient products among around 8,000 other independently verified and accredited products.
We’ll also be handing out ETL stickers for manufacturers who are showcasing their ETL listed products at Futurebuild. There has been a strong demand for these stickers at prior events from manufacturers keen to show the energy efficiency credentials of their products. If you’re a manufacturer you can contact us beforehand to arrange delivery at media@etl.energysecurity.gov.uk.
